Volunteer with us!
Here at Sycamore Trust U.K., we pride ourselves on delivering tailor-made projects for people on the Autistic Spectrum and, as such, we are always looking for new volunteers to join our friendly volunteering team. All we ask, is that you are enthusiastic, patient and kind and can offer just a few hours of your time to help us.
Currently, we have the following volunteering opportunities:
Youth Clubs:
In our fun and fast paced Youth Clubs, we need volunteers to support our young people in activities such as arts & crafts, food preparation and cooking, playing games and sensory play. Our Youth Clubs are held on weekday evenings in Dagenham and Romford (term time only).
18-30 Social Club:
Volunteers are needed to support adults with autism on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. This is more of a social group where the members get together to chat, play on iPads and go on trips to the bowling alley, cinema and local restaurants.
Autism Ambassadors:
Volunteers are needed to support the ambassadors deliver Autism Awareness training in the community. To become an ambassador, you need to have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder and be aged 12 – 25.
All travel expenses will be refunded.
