Volunteer with us

Volunteering

Do you have two or three hours a week spare to support people with autism? Here at Sycamore Trust U.K we pride ourselves on delivering tailor-made projects for people on the autism spectrum and, as such, we are always looking for new volunteers to join our friendly volunteering team.

All we ask is that you are enthusiastic, patient and kind and can offer just a few hours of your time to help us.

Youth Groups

We are NOT currently inviting applications to become a volunteer at our youth groups as our volunteer team is full. This webpage will be updated when the situation changes.

Adult Social Groups

We need volunteers to support our young adults to take part in fun social activities, often out in the community. Our adult social groups run on Thursday afternoons and Friday evenings. We are currently inviting applications to become a volunteer at our adult social groups.

All volunteers working with clients will receive the following free training:

  • Autism Awareness
  • Behaviour Awareness
  • Safeguarding

All travel expenses will be refunded for attendance at training workshops. All volunteering enquires should be directed to activities@sycamoretrust.org.uk  or call 0208 517 9317.
