Better luck next time?

Sycamore nominated for national awards

The Sycamore Trust has been nominated for two awards at this years prestigious Childrens and Young People's Awards.  Our wonderful Speak With a Picture project has been nominated alongside Parenting Pathways, which is up for an award for the second year in a row.

Parenting Pathways has been nominated in the PHSE category and SWAP has been nominated for the Early Intervention Award.  Pathways was nominated last year in the Safeguarding category for the initiative that has made the biggest contribution to prevent and protect children and young people from abuse and neglect.  The award went to the Children's Society for their splendid Greater Manchester Missing Service which picks up the pieces in Manchester when a child goes missing from care.

We're hoping for better luck this year at the ceremony in November!
