Our Alpha & Bravo groups have been a great success since launching earlier this year.  The two groups, part of our life skills programme, began in February thanks to the funding we won from the Mayor of London's Young Londoners Fund and around 30 young people every week are benefitting from learning important life skills, such as travel training, basic hygiene and living skills in a fun environment.

A number of our Bravo members were invited to City Hall this week as part of a photography exhibition entitled Inspiring Youth Work, which involved some of the young people on various youth projects all over London taking pictures of what they felt was most important about their group and the people who make it happen, part of a celebration of Youth workers for national youth work week.

Inspiring Youth Work is a collaboration between the Greater London Authority, Eastside and Young Photographers London.  During October, photography workshops took place at Bollo Brook Youth Centre, Haringey Play, Reaching Higher, The Winch and the Sycamore Trust.  Young people were supported to develop skills and access the equipment needed to take high quality photographs and a selection of those photographs were on display at City Hall on Monday evening.
