Coronavirus update; Tuesday 3rd November 2020

There will be some changes to our service delivery in the next four weeks as we adhere to the new government guidelines. Assuming parliament approves the latest measures, the Sycamore Trust UK offices in Dagenham will be closed to the public. Our services will continue, but, in a similar manner to what happened in the spring, we will operate on a virtual level. Staff will still be available by telephone and email and meetings and family visits will be restricted to video platforms during this period.

In line with other businesses in Romford’s Liberty Shopping Centre, the Autism Hub will be closed until December 2nd at the earliest. Once again, staff will continue to provide support for all the families and individuals that we support, but it will be in the form of telephone, email and video meetings.

These measures are set to come in to force just after midnight on Thursday morning, meaning that our operations on Tuesday and Wednesday (3rd & 4th November) will be unaffected. It goes without saying that we hope to re-open on or around the 2nd December and that we recognise that the best way to support all our families and individuals is by personal contact. We very much hope that we will be able to see everyone before Christmas, but in the meantime, everyone on our staff is available and keen to continue working as normal.
