Farewell Jean

It’s the end of an era at the Sycamore Trust this Friday as we bid farewell to Jean Fairweather, who is moving on after five years of working on our award winning Parenting Pathways project. Jean joined Sycamore in 2017 and has been an influential member of our management since then, combining her work on Parenting Pathways with advocacy work and organizing our annual trip to Stubbers every August.

The Parenting Pathways programme will be managed in the interim by Emma Marston until a replacement for Jean can be appointed.

Jean will be greatly missed by all of us at Sycamore and we wish her good fortune in her future endeavours. In addition, we all hope we will see her later this year for our next outdoor adventure week.

Sycamore Trust UK CEO Chris Gillbanks said, “Jean has been a great advocate for people with learning disabilities and Autism for the last five years and we will miss her forthright approach and enormous experience. She’s been a very popular member of staff and I hope her new venture is a great success”
