Flying High!

Flag raising kicks off Autism Awareness Week

Autism Awareness Week has begun and the start of the week was marked by the raising of the Sycamore Trust flag above the Town Hall in Barking.  Covid restrictions prevented any kind of gathering, but Cllr Elizabeth Kangethe, the Cabinet Member and champion for disabled people was on hand to do the honours and raise the flag on our behalf.

Autism Awareness Week is seven days of activities all over the countrym and in particular in Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge, where the focus turns to Sycamore Trust and the services we provide for families and individuals for whom Autism is part of daily life.  The Sycamore flag will fly proudly above the Town hall for the next seven days - look out for news of more activites throughout the week.
