This year’s International Day of Disabled People takes place on Monday 3rd December. This year’s event for residents of the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham will be held at Dagenham & Redbridge FC between 1pm and 8.30pm. This year’s theme is ‘Aspire & Achieve’.
There will be lots of family friendly activities taking place, including live music, football, arts and crafts. Admission is free to everyone and there will also be a disco & buffet in the evening. If you’re a resident of Havering, the IDDP event takes place at the Salvation Army HQ, 49 High Street, Romford RM1 1JL. It starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm and there are several guest speakers throughout the day, including representatives of TFL, the Fire Brigade and Havering MIND.
