It's International Day of Disabled People next week!

Lots of on-line activities next Thursday, 3rd December

The annual Barking and Dagenham International Day of Disabled People celebrations were always going to be a little different this year, because of the social restrictions imposed by Covid-19, but our friends at Progress Project were not deterred and are pleased to announce that they will be sharing lots of thought provoking, inspiring and fun video material on the B&D IDDP Facebook page (@iddpbduk) from 11am to 5pm on Thursday 3rd December.

It will include a video produced by our very own Autism Ambassadors which raises awareness of the challenges faced by people on the autistic spectrum who struggle to process and block out sensory information. There are also contributions from Dagenham and Redbridge FC Trust, West Ham United Foundation, Trinity School and a host of other friends of B&D IDDP.

To round the day off, there will be a fun quiz running live on Zoom between 6pm and 8pm. If you would like to express an interest in taking part in the quiz you need to email Simon at iddp.progress@gmail.com who will register your details and send out joining instructions before the event. You can find more information below. Here's wishing everyone a great IDDP day!!
