Jobhunters take note

Quiet session this Friday

Adults with autism or learning difficulties looking for work may wish to pay a visit to Barking Jobcentre this Friday 25th January.  The Jobcentre, in Wakering Road, is hosting a calm and quiet session to help people with autism and learning difficulties into employment.

The calm and quiet session is open to anyone aged over 18 to find out about work, benefits and support with trained staff on hand to help. Parents and carers are also welcome.  You'll get information on Universal Credit and Access to Work as well as being able to find out about part time work, full time jobs and volunteering opportunities.

The Jobcentre is close to Barking station and can also be accessed by buses 5, 169, 238, 287 and 366.
