Laser vision!

Our final day at Stubbers!

There have been so many great moments and wonderful memories from our outdoor adventure week that it's hard to pick a favourite. However, as far as our youngsters are concerned, there's no shortage of enthusiasm for any water-based activity, but if there's one that they all look forward to, perhaps more than any other, it's the final activity of our week, when everyone takes part in a game of laser tag.

There are clearly a few wannabe secret agents among our young people as they lie in wait for unsuspecting opponents, tip-toeing around the course in an attempt to remain undetected and hide among the many obstacles placed around the area.

It's all in good fun of course, and it certainly ensures that they end the week out of breath!

Our morning began with bushcraft and orienteering and the other group on the lake for a spot of paddle boarding.  Anything on the lake seems to involve getting as wet as possible in the fastest available time, and tbhis was no exception.  You would have thought that would have worn them out but during the lunch break, the activity continued with extremely competitive games of table tennis and fuseball and half an hour of zip lining, which the young people really enjoyed.  Tha adults; not so much!

So, another week comes to a close and the young people are already looking forward to next year.  For the staff and volunteers, we're looking forward to putting our feet up!
