Now for the weather report!

Good luck to everyone raising money this week

Never has the weather forecast been examined in such detail as this weekend as all the people raising money this week hoped for decent weather as they #StepUpforSycamore to raise money during Autism Awareness Week.

We have lots of people raising money for Sycamore Trust UK this week and they will all be delighted with the forecast, for plenty of bright, dry days this week.  Sam Crawford was first out of the blocks, starting his mammoth cycling challenge on Sunday afternoon.  Sam is planning to complete 50km every day this week, which is a total of 200 plus miles and he's already well on the way to his fund raising target.  To support Sam, please go to https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/samcrawford01

Sam is part of a real family effort this week, as brother in law Paul Taylor starts his fund rasing on Monday.  Paula and wife Jemma brought daughter Olivia along to our Speak With A Picture project in 2019 and they were delighted at the support they received.  Paul has set himself the herculean task of running 100km in seven days, which is around 13 miles a day.  In total, his 64 mile target is around two and a half marathons - just as well he's fit!  It's a wonderful effort and he's going to need plenty of help to get round and reach his target by the weekend.  To support Paul and help him towards his fund raising target, please go to; https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/PaulTaylor255

One of our very own Autism Ambassadors Alex Rowley is also getting out to play his part.  Alex and his father are taking on the Hadrian's Wall virtual challange, which involves walking the 90 mile length of the legendary Hadrian's Wall in three days.  Walking 30 miles a day is no mean feat and it will take Alev and Tony around 8-10 hours a day.  That's dedication!  They are doing it to raise money for Sycamore Trust UK and anyone that wants to help and support them can click here; https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/AlexRowley3

If you're taking part this week and raising money, please remember to post a photograph on your social media with the hashtag #StepUpforSycamore - we'll share the best of them!
