Our Parent Support Group is back and the next meeting is later this week. This Friday (8th November) we will be holding a support group at the Autism Hub in the Liberty Centre in Romford. The Hub is in Laurie Walk, just follow the Calm Lane and you will find us!
The Dagenham meeting takes place on Monday 11th November at 10am, at our premises near Becontree tube station (it's also on the 62 bus route)
The parent groups are open to anyone, regardless of borough and they are a great way to get help and advice and find out about local services. In many cases, parents or carers supporting a child with autism don’t know where to turn and for people in this situation, the parent groups are a vital first step in the journey. Parents will get help and advice from people in the same situation as themselves and perhaps more importantly, realise that they are not alone.
