Our Parent Support Group is back and the next meeting is on Monday week. On Monday 9th December we have a PSG meeting in Dagenham, at our premises near Becontree tube station (it's also on the 62 bus route) at 10am.
On Friday 13th December, we will be holding a support group at the Autism Hub in the Liberty Centre in Romford at 10.30am. The Hub is in Laurie Walk, just follow the Calm Lane and you will find us!
The parent groups are open to anyone, regardless of borough and they are a great way to get help and advice and find out about local services. In many cases, parents or carers supporting a child with autism don’t know where to turn and for people in this situation, the parent groups are a vital first step in the journey. Parents will get help and advice from people in the same situation as themselves and perhaps more importantly, realise that they are not alone.
