Quiet shopping at Disney in Romford
There’s good news for families in Romford as the Disney Store in the Liberty Centre is set to become the latest retailer to offer a quiet shopping period for children on the autistic spectrum.
The Disney store is trialling two quiet periods each week, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 8.30am and 9am. Noise will be reduced, and staff will be on hand to help families who need a little extra support.
The quiet period started this week just in time for the school holidays. The Disney Store is one of a number of stores in the Liberty Centre that have quiet periods for families and individuals on the autistic spectrum.
