The SPACE Project is set to benefit from a wonderful donation of £300 worth of resources from How2Become, a series of terrific books and services that give help and information for young people looking to pursue a particular career.
How2Become Ltd was established by Richard McMunn in 2005, who was working as a Fire Officer for Kent Fire & Rescue Service at the time. Since writing his first guide, How to Become a Firefighter, Richard has gone on to author and create hundreds of products. Since 2005 the company has grown and developed into the UK’s leading careers information/development specialist website. Today they have over 250 products available, spanning over 40 different careers and educational sectors.
How2become write and publish career guides such as How to become a Game Designer, How to become a Train Conductor and many, many more. You get all the information on how to pass the interview and selection process for a variety of careers.

Entitled SPACE (Supporting People with Autism into Continued Employment) and backed by the Glyn Hopkin Foundation CIO, SPACE prepares young adults with autism for work. Candidates are required to complete a programme of several weekly modules, each relating to a specific activity, such as preparing a CV, or presenting themselves for interview.
