Sensory Room returns!
The Autism Hub sensory room is set to re-open after being closed for two years. It was almost exactly two years to the day that government guidelines prevented us from opening to the public and we are truly delighted that we are at last able to re-open to the public.
The sensory room is such an important part of our offering, especially to shoppers in the Liberty. It provides an oasis of calm in what can often be a bit of a sensory overload for people in the shopping centre. It is a comfortable spot, with soft furnishings, sensory toys and soft lighting and it's available to any family or indivudual who needs a place to de-stress during a busy shopping trip.
There's no need to book - if we're open and it's empty, it's all yours. Our opening hours at the Autism Hub are as follows;
- Tuesday 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Wednesday 10:00am - 4:00pm
- Thursday 3:00pm - 5:00pm (Subject to change)
- Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm
