There was tension in the air last night at our Matata Club during the first pool tournament of 2019. The lads take part in a quarterly pool competition at our Tuesday night club for 13-18 year olds and it is always hotly contested.
Last night, after four tight quarter finals and two keenly contested semi finals, the final saw Oscar taking on Harrison, with Oscar claiming the crown. He didn't go on about it....well, not much, anyway!
Next week, the Matata Club are having a Turkish night and they will be cooking kebabs and learning about Turkey.
