These boots are made for walking!

It's been a great start to Autism Awareness Week thanks to our walkers, who have raised £1,000 (and counting) on their ten mile trek.  Our wonderful Speak With A Picture team, together with Sycamore staff and SWAP parents, set off from Romford to Dagenham this morning, and completed the first leg in rapid time.

There was time for a quick cup of coffee and a cake at Sycamore HQ, before setting off on the return journey, this time, in bright sunshine. It's about five miles each way from our premises in Becontree to the Autism Hub in the Liberty Centre, and our team took in some of the wonderful green spaces in the area on their way back to Romford.

Thery arrived just before 2pm for a well earned rest and a final group photo, all of the time checking on the total on our Just Giving page, which has been climbing steadily throughout the day.

What a wonderful start to the week - thank you to everyone who took part and also to everyone who was able to make a donation.  We'll keep the page open for a couple of weeks, so if you can spare a few pounds, click here; https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/stepupforsycamore
