Trevor's target

Local runner aiming for four figures!

Dagenham born Trevor Hazell is in training for next years London Marathon, and he will be running to raise funds for his favourite local charity, Sycamore Trust UK!

Whilst 26 miles is a daunting task for many, Trevor is a regular runner with several half marathons under his belt.  He's also completed the famous London Marathon course as well, posting a personal best of just over 3 hours 45 mins, which sounds like world record pace to those of us who struggle to run for the bus! Trevor assures us that he hopes to complete the course next April in around 4 hours.

Trevor was born in Hedgemans Road, Dagenham, just a couple of hundred yards from our premises in Woodward Road, and he grew up in the area, attending Roding Junior School, Mayesbrook Comprehensive and playing football for Valance United FC.

Trevor said he was delighted to raise money for such an important local cause. “My late mother worked over 30 years caring for people with mental and severe physical disabilities, so the Sycamore Trust holds a special place in my heart, especially as I was born and raised within their local area”

Trevor has set himself an ambitious target of £1,500 in donations, so he needs all the help he can get!  The London Marathon takes place next April and to support his efforts on our behalf,  go to his Virgin Money page at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/TrevorHazell
