Whale of a time!
We've really enjoyed our summer activities so far and with more yet to come, we're hoping that the good weather holds as we get our young people outside again after almost five months of being stuck indoors.
Two weeks ago we held an activity day in Raphaels Park in Romford that was enjoyed by everyone who attended. The weather was terrific as we chose a shady spot to try short tennis, lawn darts and bowls, punctuated by regular trips to the park cafe for cold drinks and ice cream!
Last week, we continued the sporting theme by pitching up at Moby Golf in Dagenham, where our 16 strong group attempted to avoid the hazards on the crazy golf course and once again, everyone really enjoyed the occasion.
We still have more summer events to come, as we attempt to transition the young people away from their lap tops and tablets and back in to the idea of mixing and mingling with their peers ahead of the return to school in a few weeks time.
