What's for lunch?

The Sycamore Trust Autism Ambassadors were back in action this week with a visit to the Dorothy Barley Junior Academy in Dagenham.  The boys began their morning with a qiuck question and answer session for some of the etaching assistants before moving on to a presentation for the school dinner ladies.

The lunch period can often be the most challenging period of the day for young people with autism as there is often a huge amount of sensory stimulation so giving the canteen staff AA training was a sensible move.

Robert & Alex are pictured with the DBJA dinner ladies after they finished their exercises, just in time for the lunchtime rush!
