The countdown has begun!
Welcome to 2025! There's no time to waste as we look ahead to Autism Acceptance Week 2025, which is just under three months away! We've got lots of activities planned, including our annual sponsored walk, our annual #daretobedifferent day and our River Thames party at the end of April.
Our fourth annual D2BD sponsored walk will take place on Wednesday 2nd April, but it will be different to previous years in that we won't be walking from Romford to Dagenham but instead will be walking around Raphaels Park. A starting point and approximate times will be available in the coming days, but we will be hoping to beat last years total of £1,585.
With any luck, lots of people will be joining in with our annual #daretobedifferent day on 4th April and making a donation to Sycamore Trust U.K. We are also doing lots of parent coffee mornings and student assemblies at schools all over Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge as Autism Acceptance Week draws closer.
