Tom's Target

We're absolutely delighted to announce that we have an athlete in this year's London Marathon!  Tom Gentry, from Upminster, will be tackling the 26 mile course, to raise money for Sycamore Trust and training is already under way.

We apply every year for a place and we were fortunate to be awarded an entry for this year's marathon, which takes place on Sunday 27th April.  It's the most famous marathon in the world, having been run every year since 1981.  Last year's race raised over £67m and Tom has set himself a target of £2,000, which we are hoping he will achieve before the big day.

If you are able to help Tom and help the Sycamore Trust at the same time, please visit his Just Giving page here; https://www.justgiving.com/page/tom-gentry-1730765835950?utm_term=d5kGZzJwY

I'm thrilled to be running the 2025 London Marathon to raise funds for an amazing organisation that’s close to my heart: Sycamore Trust U.K. is a fantastic charity that supports children and young people with social and communication difficulties, empowering them and their families to thrive. They work tirelessly to make a real difference in the lives of young people who face unique challenges with communication, confidence, and self-esteem. I’m incredibly proud to be fundraising for them and can't wait to complete the marathon knowing I’m helping Sycamore continue their vital work.
