The Autism Ambassadors were kindly invited to present at Havering Adult College’s Brittons Academy in Rainham on the morning of Tuesday 6th May.
The session was attended by 8 trainee teaching assistants who work in primary schools around Havering. As usual, all delegates gave excellent feedback, which reflected that they really enjoyed the training.
The session, as always, was followed up by a lenghty Q&A, which showed the audience were really engaged and wanted to know more. Ambassadors Robert, Frankie and Joseph are pictured with all the participants after the training.
As is so often the case, we received some very positive feedback from participants at the end of the session, including;
"Thanks to the Ambassadors team, we learned that we need patience and understanding towards people with autism"
"Thanks to the activity I felt like autistic person and heard the world differently"
