You might remember we reported on a quite extraordinary fundraising attempt earlier this year - David Pakozdi was planning to cycle all the way from Budapest to Istanbul!
Well, he wasn't kidding, although the heatwave and wildfires that swept across Europe forced him to alter his route slightly. In the end he cycled from Hungary to Thessaloniki, then taking the train to Athens. However, he went via a big loop on the Adriatic coast [because it was hot!] around Bosnia, Croatia and Montenegro, so all in all it was well over 1,000 km of cycling!
David completed his journey a couple of weeks ago and of course, he did it all to raise money for Sycamore Trust UK.
It goes without saying that we want him to raise as much as possible and we want his huge effort to be suitably rewarded. If you can contribute towards David's total, please click here for his Just Giving page; https://www.justgiving.com/page/david-pakozdi-7?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL
