We have recently paid not one, but two visits to the Mason Pearson factory in Rainham, to deliver our CPD rated Autism Awareness training.
As part of our commitment to the employment project that we are running for the London Borough of Havering, we are visiting businesses all over the borough to help them increase their awareness and acceptance of autism.
Our Ambassadors delivered two session at Mason Pearson and we thoroughly enjoyed both trips. Mason Pearson is a local firm with an international reputation for top-quality hairbrshes. In the mid 1860s a Yorkshireman called Mason Pearson came to work at the British Steam Brush Works, in the East End of London. In 1885 he invented the "pneumatic" rubber-cushion hairbrush which became the company's primary product and is still on sale, little changed from the original design.

The amount of care and attention to detail that goes into manufacturing a Mason Pearson hairbrush has to be seen to be believed, which is why they are the very top end of their field, manufacturing a product that can sell for over £100.
