Manic Monday!
Our outdoor week Lambourne End Centre for Outdoor Learning got under way yesterday. Weather was good (dry, warm, but not too hot) and we had a very busy first day. In the morning, we looked around the farm and met many of the more interesting residents, including Chuck the duck, who thinks he's a chicken and a 50-year-old tortoise! We also mastered the ropes course. Sixteen young people, and no-one fell in. We'd call that a success!
In the afternoon, our two groups came together for some team-building games, which proved to be very competitive. All in all, a great first day!
