New helpline for Barking and Dagenham families
It's the new year and we have a new service for Barking & Dagenham families at Sycamore Trust.
Starting today (5th January 2026) we now offer a helpline for parents and carers of children with social communication differences aged 0-6 in B&D, for help with a range of issues, including behaviour, toilet training, sleep, feeding, diet and nursery or school applications.
The telephone helpline is available at the following times;
- Every Monday from 1pm to 3pm*
- Every Wednesday from 9am to 2pm
*Not including bank holidays
The number to call if you need support is 020 8517 9317 - ask for Christine. You can also email BDhelpline@sycamoretrust.org.uk but emails to this address will only be replied to during the above stated times.
The helpline is being run by Christine Langan, who has also been looking after our Connecting Through Play group, which takes place every Monday and Tuesday and is only available via a referral from a nursery, pre-schoolo or healthcare professional
