Ten goal thriller!
It was a match that had everything! Goals, drama, goalmouth incident, great saves and plenty of talking points.
The Fix Auto Dagenham v Enterprise football match at Dagenham & Redbridge FC last Thursday was a wonderful occasion, and it finished in a 7-3 victory for the home side. Despite falling behind to two early Enterprise goals, Fix Auto battled back to make it 2-2 at half time. The second half saw the searing heat take it’s toll and one or two more gaps appeared in the two defences, with Fix taking advantage to go on and win the game 7-3, thanks to some great finishing and a Cade Lewin hat-trick.

After the game, we headed to the bar to enjoy a post match buffet and a drink or two, much needed, given the temperature. In truth, of course, the real winners on the night were Sycamore Trust, with an astonishing £6,500 raised, smashing last year’s £6k total.
These events take a huge amount of effort to put together and we’d like to thank all the staff at Dagenham & Redbridge FC and the Enterprise team who played the game in the right sprit. Huge thanks must go to Scott Dunnell and his team at Fix Auto, who worked tirelessly to ensure that the game could go ahead.
