Triathlon triumph!
Congratulations are in order for both Richard and Alfie George after their herculean efforts at the weekend.
Richard and Alfie decided to tackle an Olympic level triathlon to raise money for Sycamore Trust UK and they both completed the course in quite astonishing times.
To complete any of a 1500m swim, a 40km bike ride or a 10k road race would be impressive enough, but to do all three without stopping requires an unbelievable level of fitness, stamina and determination, especially when you factor in the recent temperatures.
Fortunately, Richard and Alfie have all those qualities in abundance and completed the course at the weekend in London's Docklands, raising over £1,200 in the process. Alfie crossed the finish line in under three hours and his father wasn't far behind, clocking an impressive 3 hours, 20 minutes.
