The Sycamore Trust UK Autism Ambassadors were in Barking on 9th July to visit the Excel Women’s Centre. The ambassadors were invited to give an autism awareness presentation to a group of 18 women from a range of diverse backgrounds who either have children with autism, or who wanted to learn more about autism. Some interesting discussion was had around the experiences of both the women and the ambassadors.
