The first ever virtual Sycamore Trust Annual General Meeting took place last night and we think it went very well! There was a very good attendance with plenty of members dialling in, along with trustees, staff and volunteers.
The meeting was led by Chair of Trustees Jo Baty, and most of the formal business went through very quickly. Once that was completed, we were treated to a terrific presentation from the Autism Ambassadors who have been working on an adaptation of their wonderful Autism Awareness presentation.
As a result of the coronavirus, the Ambassadors presentations have stopped but that hasn’t stopped them taking it on line and the assembled guests were able to see for themselves just how powerful it can be, even when watching via video link.
