Autism Ambassadors rise again!
The Autism Ambassadors were back on the road again on Monday 17th January and delivered a presentation to teachers at the Rise Park Academy in Romford.
This presentation was one of several firsts: it was their first in-person presentation in seven months (following the one at Jaktol Day Centre on 21st June last year), the first with Jemma Taylor as their new Support Worker and the first in two years with a volunteer ambassador, Frankie, accompanying us.
The presentation was, of course, a little different to what the Ambassadors were delivering before the pandemic, as activities were adapted to be Covid-safe, whilst still providing a rich and rewarding experience for the audience. The Ambassadors received excellent feedback, which reflected that the audience really enjoyed the adapted presentation.
The Ambassadors do now have more in-person presentations at schools in the pipeline, so we very much look forward to them and seeing our volunteer ambassadors in-person again!
