Coronavirus update; Tuesday 17th March 2020

As the situation changes on a daily basis, here at Sycamore Trust UK, we’re going to carry on as normal as long as it’s prudent to do so. At present, our clubs will remain open, but as the government advice is updated daily, we may have to alter our plans. This evening’s Matata youth club is set to go ahead and the same applies to tomorrow evening’s Alpha group but if the situation changes, we will post the latest news on our website and social media platforms and call parents where possible.

If you are a parent or carer of a young person in any of our programmes and wish to stay away from the activities, we completely understand, but would be grateful if you could let us know by calling 020 8517 9317. We’re aware that for some young people on the autistic spectrum, changes to their routine can be upsetting and as long as it’s safe, we have no wish to disrupt our regular schedule, but if the advice from local or national government changes, we may have to change our plans.

In the meantime, the office remains open in Dagenham and the Autism Hub is open as normal in Romford. Please make sure you follow the advice from the government regarding hygiene and stay safe!
