Dare to be Different 2024
There's no getting away from it, we're at the time of year where we start to discuss our plans for Autism Acceptance Week next March! Autism Acceptance Week rolls around again at the end of March 2024 and as ever, we feel that it provides us with the perfect platform to create some visibility for Sycamore Trust, increase awareness of Autism in general, and of course boost our fund raising plans!
The week covers the Easter weekend, so we feel the best day for our Dare to be Different promotion is Thursday 28th March. Everyone will be looking forward to the four day Easter weekend and we might even have some nice weather, so with any luck, people will be in a good mood and prepared to join in with the fun!
Once again, we are asking schools, colleges and workplaces around the boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge to wear something unusual on Thursday 28th March and donate £1 to Sycamore Trust UK. It can be anything you like - pyjamas, a football kit, or a pink tutu!
