Fabulous outfits on display!

Thanks to everyone who took part in Dare to be Different 2022

Our annual Dare to be Different day took place last week and a lot of people seemed to enjoy the day, if our pictures are anything to go by!  Each year, we nominate the Friday of World Autism Awareness Week as our annual Dare to be Different day, when we encourage people to dress in something a little unusual to highlight Autism Awareness.  It's good fun and we try to raise some money as well!

Staff at Fix Auto braved the cold weather!

A number of organisations in the local area clearly embraced the idea with lots of staff joining in, including our friends at Fix Auto in Dagenham.  The local bodyshop are fund raising for Sycamore Trust UK this year and the entire workforce got involved with Dare to be Different.  There were some outstanding outfits, including a quite magnificent Ali G costume!

Onesie's are back in fashion!

Fix Auto staff braved the cold weather to get some photos outside, which must have been especially tough for those on the team in shorts and t-shirts!

Staff at Coventry University joined in!

Little more than a mile away, staff and tutors at Coventry University in Dagenham joined in, raising over £100 in the process.  They have supported our Dare to be Different initiative every year since it began with some wonderful outfits, and this year was no exception.

The next date in the diary for Fix Auto staff is the 12,000m mud race in Brentwood in May - you can support them here; https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/fixautomudrace
