Here at Sycamore Trust UK, we're always looking to acknowledge good work done in the wider community to raise awareness of autism and how to become more autism aware.
With this in mind we were delighted to award Beal High School one of our gold certificates, to acknowldege their work in raising awareness of ASD.
On Wednesday 20th June, Robert Lamb, one of the Autism Ambassadors from Sycamore Trust UK, visited the Beacon Communication School at Beal High School in Redbridge to speak to around 30 autistic pupils about the Ambassadors project and to try and recruit some new young ambassadors to the programme.
While he was there, Robert presented Deputy Head Sian Davies with a gold certificate of autism awareness, to reward the Beacon Communication School for working with the Ambassadors to raise awareness of ASD.
