Look who's walking!

It's that time of year again! The time to dust off the comfortable shoes, brush off the post-Christmas blues and get some steps in before the annual Sycamore Trust UK 'Walk & Talk'

For a few years now, we've used Autism Acceptance Week as a platform to run a number of important initiatives and the annual Walk & Talk is an important addition to the Sycamore calendar.

As last year, we'll be walking from the Havering Autism Hub in Romford's Liberty Centre to our premises in Dagenham, and taking a quick coffee break before attempting the return journey.  If the weather is decent, we'd expect to do the entire ten mile round trip in about four hours.  This year's walk is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 27th March, and we're planning to leave the Hub at 10am.

If you'd like to join us, you are more than welcome!  We want to lots of friends, both new and old!  It's actually a lot of fun and although ten miles sounds like a long way, that break half-way through means it's not quite so daunting.  Please drop a line to annmarie.lyonsmummery@sycamoretrust.org.uk if you'd like to take part.

If the walk doesn't appeal to you, but you'd like to help our staff & volunteers towards their target, please visit our Just Giving page and make a donation.  Every amount helps, large or small! Click here for more info; https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/daretodedifferentwalk2024
