Quick on the draw!
The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham has announced plans to hold a Thank You Festival once the lockdown is over and it’s safe to do so. This event will be sponsored by none other than West Ham United star, Mark Noble, and they are calling out to our creative youngsters to design a logo for it! To be in with a chance of winning, entries need to feature a rainbow and the words ‘thank you’ – the winning design will then be recreated by a professional designer and used on all the event publicity and merchandise.
Well, as we have seen in the last six weeks, we have plenty of creative talent at the Sycamore Trust, and it came as no surprise that Ellis, from the Alpha Club steering group has submitted an entry. We featured Ellis recently after he created a soft drink as part of a recycling campaign and he has been quick on the draw again.
He has set a very high bar with his entry, but if you think you can do better, please follow the instructions below. Entrants must be under 18 years of age.
To enter, simply send your design to summeroffestivals@lbbd.gov.uk by Monday 8 June. The winner will also receive: • Tickets and hospitality for a football match of their choice donated by Mark Noble and a £50 voucher for Amazon or Smyths Toys
