Raising the roof!

A group of 20 girls from the Raised Voices project at Arc Theatre, based at Kingsley Hall in Dagenham, really did get to raise their voices at the Autism Ambassadors’ presentation to the group on Thursday 23rd May.

Raised Voices is a film project about the challenging issues affecting today’s society, such as body image, mental health, domestic violence, sexual exploitation and female genital mutilation, with the aim of empowering young people with the knowledge and confidence to choose healthy relationships and positive lifestyles.

All 20 girls were very engaged throughout, thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and had lots of questions for the Ambassadors afterwards!
