Stubbers 2020 review part one

Monday 24th August

It's the week we look forward to above all others and this year lived up to expectations.  Our annual week at the Stubbers Adventure Centre is always great fun and although this year had a slightly different feel about it, there was still plenty of anticiptation in the air last Monday morning.  Our plans had been affected by Covid-19 but we were still delighted to be heading for Stubbers last week, even though a handful of activities had to be shelved.

Safety first was the order of the day, with everyone entering the site having their temperature taken and hand sanitiser everywhere.  We also operated a strict hand washing routine every time the young people entered the building.

Our first activity of the week was an enormous game of laser tag, which featured all our youngsters at once.  It was highly competitive and great fun in the Monday morning sunshine.  After lunch, we broke into smaller groups that we would maintain throughout the week and headed off for a range of activities, including archery and the inflatable sofa.

It was a great start to the week!
