Target practice!
Our annual visit to Stubbers is off to a great start, despite some miserable weather at the start iof the day. Our first job was to get acquainted with the alterations that have been made to the building in the last year and the new facilities received a resounding thumbs up from our young people who took advantage of the recreation room in between activities.
It was a busy day as always as we split into groups and headed out around the site. Our day involved archery, rifle shooting,clip and climb, grass skateboarding, bell boats and paddle boarding. As is often the case, the young people took the wet activities literally and wasted no time in jumping off their boards and boats. Assorted adults looked on disbelief!
A solid start to our four days of activity and we're looking foirward to tomorrow!
