Well done!

There was a tremendous effort from Dagenham born Trevor Hazell last Sunday when he completed the London Marathon on behalf of the Sycamore Trust. Trevor’s late mother worked with SEN families for 30 years and, as he was born very close to our building in Dagenham, Trevor wanted to take part in the Marathon in order to raise money for our vital services.

The Marathon was postponed in 2020 and delayed again this year but finally took place last Sunday, starting in Blackheath and finishing on The Mall. Trevor is no stranger to distance running, having done a couple of half marathons this year already as part of his build up to the big one this weekend, and he finished the gruelling 26-mile course in an extraordinary 3 hours 56 minutes.

Trevor’s fund raising page is still open and accepting visitors, and needless to say, any donation to Trevor’s page will be very welcome, so if you’d like to congratulate him on an extraordinary achievement, please go to; https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/TrevorHazell
