What will you be wearing?

One week until Dare to be Different day!

World Autism Awareness Week is almost upon us - what will you be wearing for Dare to be Different day?

Next week is our chance to be in the spotlight, and we fully intend to make sure that we are out and about all over Havering, Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham promoting not only autism awareness, but also the vital services that we provide to our three East London boroughs.

We're going to be all over the local area in the next ten days, as we build up to Dare to be Different day at the end of next week.  We'll be in Romford Library this Thursday as well as Barking Learning Centre next Tuesday.  We'll also be in Mercury Mall next Tuesday and Liberty Mall on Wednesday.  In addition, we'll be at a number of local schools and we're paying a visit to Coventry University next Thursday as well.

So all that remains is for everyone to dress up different on the day and help us raise vital awareness of autism and the Sycamore Trust UK.  You can wear whatever you want, whether it's a full on Spiderman costume, a bright pink wig, pyjamas, or simply odd socks.  And remember to add your pictures on social media with the hashtag #DareToBeDifferent - we're looking forward to it; hope you are too!
