Our new Thursday evening club got off to a great start last week with half a dozen new members at the Autism Hub in Romford.
The new Peer Support Group is designed for young adults from 18 and over in the London Borough of Havering to meet other young people on the spectrum and chat about the issues that affect them.
The group will be meeting once a month from 5pm – 7pm in the Autism Hub, which is run by the Sycamore Trust UK in the Liberty Shopping Centre in Romford.
Young adults with autism can find social contact difficult and the new group has been established to provide support to young adults and improve their social and communication skills.
They are set to meet again on Thursday 26th July and new members are welcome
